Holy Smokes, I’m a Mother
A poem for children, “Holy smokes, I’m a mother” speaks about a sea horse, who is the only living being in the world where a male gives birth to the young.
In a very humorous manner close to children’s perception, the authoress comes up with the explanations why that “mistake” has happened. She places the guilt on Poseidon, the God of Sea, who made that decision.
This poem developed into a theatre play, which is, for many years, played by the theater “Lane”, as a puppet show for kids, with special light effects, which conjure up the bottom of the sea.
The book was published in 2000, and newer editions in the form of a picture book for children were illustrated by Maja Milinić Bogdanović, PhD.
